I am an artist based in North Fife, and I graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee with a Bachelor of Design (Honours) in Illustration and Printmaking.
Throughout my career, I have worked with a wide range of media, including metal, clay, recycled objects, packaging, photography, and film. This journey has come full circle, bringing me back to printmaking during my 21 years at the Dundee Contemporary Arts Print Studio, where I also had the opportunity to work as a Studio Coordinator.
I enjoy all forms of printmaking but specialise in screen printing, collagraph, etching, and monoprinting. Each technique is unique, providing me with various options to explore a single idea. I create my images through drawing, monoprinting, or photography, and then manipulate these images using Photoshop. I love combining traditional printmaking methods with more modern image creation techniques to entertain both myself and others.
